I was born and raised in North Alabama and absolutely love the area. I graduated from Hartselle High School and obtained my degree in Engineering from The University of Alabama. After college I attended Cumberland School of Law before accepting a position with the Tennessee Valley Authority. I spent 8 years serving the people of the Valley with TVA before becoming involved with a local real estate company where I decided to pursue real estate full time.
Since my first introduction into real estate I found that there is no feeling like finding someone the perfect home or helping someone sell their house as quickly as possible and for the best price. The only thing that beats that feeling is family time. I spend most of my free time with my wife and our two boys, staying involved and active in church, community sports, and the local school systems, where my wife is a teacher.
I pride myself on attention to detail and active communication with my clients and would love the opportunity to discuss what value I can bring to you in buying or selling your home.
I am a life-long resident of Alabama. After graduating from Austin High School, I received two undergraduate degrees from Athens State and a Master’s degree in Education from UNA. I then taught and coached 11 years in Hartselle before moving into school administration in Lawrence County and Madison City Schools. Having spent my entire career serving people in the classroom and on the playing field, I now have the opportunity to serve people as their realtor.
I recently became a licensed realtor and joined my son Ben, the owner of Trans Action Real Estate to form The Hodges Team. We’re a small but growing company that focuses on meeting the specific needs of our customers.
